This Autumnal drink is the answer to all of your pumpkin white mocha dreams. It is creamy, full of real pumpkin and warm Autumn spices, and can be as sweet or unsweet as you like. Forget syrups, artificial flavors, and lackluster pumpkin spice lattes, this is the real deal.
1cansweetened condensed milkI prefer La Lechera brand
7ozevaporated milk(about 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp)
6tbspgranulated sugar
1/2tbspvanilla extract
1/2cupwhite chocolate chipsI prefer Ghirardelli
Instructions
Make White Chocolate Sauce
Combine your white chocolate chips with a splash of evaporated milk in a small saucepan over medium low heat. Stir occasionally, until white chocolate chips are melted.
Add remaining white chocolate sauce ingredients (except vanilla), and stir until melted and combined.
Turn off the heat, and stir in the vanilla.
Pour into a glass container, and let cool. Store in the refrigerator.
Assemble Pumpkin White Mocha
Mix pumpkin puree, warmed evaporated milk, espresso, white chocolate sauce, and spices.
Pour in steamed milk, and top with whipped cream and a pinch of pumpkin spice blend if desired.
